THE ORIGINS OF SHAN ZU
Inspired by a passionate chef’s dream, SHAN ZU was born out of frustration with the existing knife market—products were either overpriced or lacked quality. Our founder set out to create a brand that delivers both excellence and affordability.
The name SHAN ZU pays homage to a legendary Chinese chef who mastered “shan shi,” the art of healthy cuisine. Her dedication to culinary perfection reflects our own commitment to craftsmanship, quality, and integrity in every knife we make.
